I am Jieke Shi (史杰克), a third-year Ph.D. Candidate and a Research Engineer at the School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS), Singapore Management University (SMU). I am working with Professor David Lo, an ACM/IEEE/ASE Fellow, as my supervisor.
My research lies at the intersection of Software Engineering (SE) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), with a particular focus on (1) quality assurance of AI-enabled systems from an SE perspective, and (2) efficiency improvement of code models for real-world deployment. I have published 22 papers in top-tier SE and security venues (e.g., ICSE, ASE, TSE, TOSEM, IEEE S&P), among which one paper received the Honorable Mention Award (ACSAC 2022), and one paper was nominated for the ACM SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Award (ASE 2022).
Before coming to SMU, I received a B.S. degree from Yangzhou University (advised by Professor Junwu Zhu). I also worked as a research assistant at the Institute of Computing Technology, China Academy of Sciences (advised by Dr. Shi Wang).
